Community involvement 2010

 




A FOOD DRIVE WAS HELD AT DEL CITY EPPERLY HEIGHTS ELEMENTARY SCHOOL.



THE KIDS BROUGHT NONPERISHABLE FOOD ITEMS TO THE SCHOOL FROM MARCH 29 THROUGH APRIL 2. This was held in Conjunction with the food drives at schools throughout our City.



33 Families received baskets this year. Extra food was donated to the Food Pantry.  THE CLASS THAT BROUGHT THE MOST ITEMS WON A PIZZA PARTY. EACH SCHOOL CHOSE 3-5 FAMILIES TO RECEIVE THE FOOD BASKETS WHICH WERE DELIVERED EASTER WEEKEND.
